Rio has had about 18 months of cutting training. He is not for a beginer. He does not buck, but he is very quick and throws the power to you. He is a little skittish on the ground, but only spooks occasionally when you are on him. For instance he took one jump when a covey of quail flew out from under his feet. He was trained by Butch Russel at Portales, NM. I have had him since he was 18 months old.
